So how does this work?

The whole process is really quite simple.  Whereas with other vacation seminars you’re limited to the choice of dates and venues available, in this case, you simply decide where you want to vacation, build your own seminar schedule, and take your CME seminar on your terms.  Send us your information before you leave on vacation, and once you’ve completed your CME credits, send us a copy as proof of completion.  We will then provide you with a final course completion letter.

 

How much does it cost?

The cost of is significantly lower than most travel CME seminars.  The cost is twenty two dollars ($22) per study hour.

 

How many seminar days do I need for a vacation?

You need to purchase at least 2 hours of seminar time per active vacation day.

 

Can I visit multiple destinations on my trip?

Yes.  All you need to do is create seminars for the days you’re in the different locations. While you can select whatever seminar you want, you can access additional options here.

 

Do you provide CME seminars?

CME Escapes Seminars does not provide any CME seminar materials. We are paid to deliver a condition in which you can receive your CME credits as a vacation destination. It is your responsibility to attend the CME seminars you select, and obtain the necessary certificates.

 

Can any medical professional other than a physician undertake a CME seminar through you?

Yes, anyone who needs medical CME can use our services. It's just up to  you to make sure you can apply the credits listed on the lecture.

 

How are the courses accredited?

All courses are accredited through the appropriate and legal channels.  Each lecture should provide information on the credits available and the accreditation. Further, it is critical to ensure that the course material is current as many of these courses tend to have defined validity timeframes.

 

What if my trip is canceled due to inclement weather or unforeseeable circumstances?

We understand!  Not a problem!  You can reschedule your time for a later date within the next 12 months, and we can provide you with the necessary supporting documentation at that juncture.

 

What if I don't have internet access at my vacation location?

Simply print out your paper seminars and take them with you and do the CME on your vacation. 

Alternatively you can download the paper or the video clips on your computer, and bring them with you on the vacation.  When you get access to the internet, log in and complete the tests. Typically, in many CME Seminars, you don't get the certificates of completion until sometime after the course has completed.

 

Can I get a Pre-approval Letter?

Absolutely!  As long as all the information requested has been submitted to us before your departure, and the CME courses you intend to take are AMA Category 1 Credits, we can provide you with a pre-approval letter prior to your trip.

 

How long does it take to get pre-approval and/or approval letter from you?

Our turn around time is typically within 48 hours when the delivery method is via email or fax.  If via snail mail, we’re at the mercy of the US postal service – unless an expedited service is requested and  paid for in advance.

Your pre-booking is done via this link.  Alternatively you can email us at info@cmeescapes.com with the following information – Full Name, mailing address topic of your seminar, a listing of all the courses you intent to complete, type of vacation (destination or cruise), location of your vacation (city, state, country), dates of vacation, and the number of hours of CME credits.  If you haven’t paid for the seminar online, then we can send you a Paypal payment request.
